2011 Rockefeller Center Tree-Lighting Ceremony

The 79th annual Rockefeller Center Tree-Lighting Ceremony was held yesterday, officially welcoming the holiday season to New York City.  This year’s tree is a 74 foot tall Norway Spruce from the town of Mifflinville, PA.  The tree is decorated with 30,000 environmentally friendly LED lights strung on 5 miles of wire and crowned by a Swarovsky Crystal Star.  The ceremony… Read more →
